A clinical research study of an investigational drug for RRMS that is taken by mouth.

Right now, doctors who specialize in the treatment of multiple sclerosis are conducting FREEDOMS II: a clinical research study of an investigational drug for MS that is taken by mouth, rather than injected.

If you have relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS), you may be able to participate in the FREEDOMS II study.

The investigational drug may provide treatment for MS, without the need for injections (the investigational drug is taken once daily by mouth).

Everyone who participates in the FREEDOMS II study will receive the following (at no cost):

  • Study-related care and monitoring from a physician and healthcare professionals who understand how multiple sclerosis can affect your life.
  • Study drug – the investigational drug and/or a placebo (a substance designed to have no effect on health). The investigational drug is taken by mouth. Everyone who participates in this study has the same 2 in 3 chance of receiving the investigational drug.
